Creating Characters

My latest project is illustrating a book involving elementary children in a school setting. The story is really original and creative so I am challenged to create characters that are equally interesting that go with the story. The process of sketching and adding colors is the best part of any project.

The book involves a whole classroom including a mysterious teacher with "strange powers". Creating all of them should take most of the month of July. Stay in touch and let me know what you think.
