A Moment at the Beach

This painting is another project that I have started in the art studio. It depicts the summer at the beach when I proposed to my wife on the Wildwood, New Jersey boardwalk. The acrylic transfer painting is filled with images of our early dating at the beach done in an abstract style that attempts to capture the memories of our youth. The painting needs some finish work and some last details before framing. Overall, I like the way this piece turned out so far.

Poster season

Coming up with the design for the center of one of my Senior poster projects is always the most fun yet challenging part. In this project, a school wanted to use their "mascot" in the design. Taking liberty with the character who was just standing in a fighting pose in the example they gave me, I tried to make the mascot part of the logo without changing it too much

This is a spot color version of the design that I came up with. The final version will be in full color surrounded by 180 seniors. I will post the completed project when finished and printed.
