Sayre Redskin Poster is next

Coming up with new center designs for the "Sayre Poster" is a concern every year. However, when the time comes to sit and put pencil to paper and start the process it seems I always get a mental image of what it should be for that year.

This year, the image of a leaping "Redskin" was the challenge waving weapons with pride. Shown above is the drawing so far....drawings of every senior surrounding him to follow.

Well, another advance in the poster project has developed during this latest project. For the first time since the concept/project started in 1983 all of the cartoons were drawn directly into the composition and all of the captions have been added in actual fonts using a Wacom drawing tablet in the creation of this particular poster ". This process allowed greater detail and more control of the composition and allowed this to be one of the best posters to date.
